En Michael Klienhouse és el típic veí modèlic, casat i amb un fill. Un dia, en el matí del Dia de l'Holocaust, en Michael xoca amb el cotxe d'en Dreyfus.

גל זייד הוא מיכאל קליינהאוס - ה"השכן ממול" הממוצע. בבוקר יום השואה, קצת לפני הצפירה, אשתו של מיכאל (קרן מור), מעצבנת את דרייפוס חמום המוח (אשר צרפתי), גיבור מלחמה לשעבר שמקושר היטב במשטרת ישראל. בתגובה דרייפוס דוהר עם מכוניתו השחורה אל תוך דלת המכונית הפתוחה של מיכאל וכמעט ודורס את תמר. מיכאל מנסה לטפל במצב אך מגלה ש"שבוע הצפירות" - מיום השואה ועד ליום העצמאות - הופך לסיוט הפרטי שלו כשכל בעיותיו האישיות מתנקזות לתוך מאבקו בדרייפוס.

Michael Klienhouse (Gal Zaid) es el típico vecino modélico, casado y con un hijo. Un día, en la mañana del Día del Holocausto, Michael choca con el coche de Dreyfus (Asher Tsarfati). Tamar (Keren Mor), la mujer de Michael, le hace un gesto obsceno a Dreyfus y éste acelera su vehículo y choca contra la puerta abierta del de Michael, estando a punto de golpear a Tamar.
