Underrated

this film is way underrated I think due to the lead actor being a bit too long in the tooth and past his prime, and the fact that the film is in the public domain. It's a sharp, cleaver little crime film that should be seen by any fan of b noirs.

I agree. It's well written and has a good cast and direction, several twists and turns, and a satisfying ending. It deserves to be rated much higher. I recommend it highly.
