일본 막부시대, 신선조의 활약으로 평화로운 교토. 조지라는 미국 군인이 좀비 바이러스에 감염되어 신선조에 의해 체포되지만, 이미 교토는 좀비 바이러스가 퍼져버린 상황. 남은 신선조들은 좀비 바이러스를 막기 위해 힘을 뭉치지만, 조지를 쫓는 다른 어둠의 세력과 마주하게 된다. 이를 지켜보던 신선조 지망생 쿠즈야마는 자신의 목숨을 희생해 신선조에 도움이 되기 위한 마지막 결투에 따라 나서게 되는데...
