Tatiana ontsnapt uit de gevangenis en zoekt een schuilplaats in een afgelegen dorp Pavlovka, in het huis van haar overleden grootmoeder. Daar ontmoet ze Maxim die naar het dorp is gekomen om even te ontsnappen aan het hectische stadsleven. Er ontstaat meteen chemie tussen hen. Alles zou in orde zijn, ware het niet dat Tatiana's ex-vriend, Oleg, naar het dorp komt om haar te zoeken. Tatiana wordt gedwongen om Maxim de hele waarheid over zichzelf te vertellen. Ze vertelt hem over de overval die ze samen met Oleg pleegde en hoe ze alle schuld op zich nam en vervolgens uit de gevangenis ontsnapte. Maxim verzekert haar dat hij hoe dan ook aan haar zijde zal staan en haar zal helpen dit alles te doorstaan. Maar de dingen zijn niet zo eenvoudig als ze lijken, omdat Maxim niet is wie hij beweert te zijn.

Tatiana makes her escape from prison and seeks a hideout in a remote village of Pavlovka, in her late grandmother’s house. There she meets Maxim who has come to the village to take a break from the hectic city life. Instant chemistry sparks between them. Everything would be just fine were it not for Tatiana’s ex-boyfriend, Oleg, who comes to the village looking for her. Tatiana is forced to tell Maxim the whole truth about herself. She tells him about the robbery she committed together with Oleg and how she took all the blame on herself and then escaped from prison. Maxim assures her that he will be by her side no matter what and will help her get through all this. But things are not as simple as they seem, because Maxim isn’t who he pretends to be.

Татьяна, совершив побег из колонии, поселяется в доме своей покойной бабушки в глухом селе Павловка. Там она встречает Максима, который приехал в деревню, чтобы отдохнуть от городской суеты. Между ними возникает взаимное чувство. Тем временем в Павловке появляется Олег — бывший жених Татьяны. Таня вынуждена рассказать Максиму всю правду о себе — о том, как она вместе с Олегом совершила ограбление, как взяла всю вину на себя и как сбежала из зоны. Максим заверяет любимую, что поможет ей и всегда будет рядом. Но не всё так просто: Максим не тот, за кого себя выдаёт…
