Een advocaat, wint een moeilijke zaak. Het is tijd om te ontspannen en de overwinning te vieren, maar in haar handen is er een audio-opname die de schuld van de cliënt bewijst. Voor haar is haar hele leven een spel, ze is gewend om risico's te nemen en met de dood te spelen, zodat de advocaat tegelijkertijd de cliënt en het parket informeert over de vondst. Ze vraagt zich af hoe de zaak zal aflopen.

The plot is not developed; in the film we see a man (he) and a woman (she) who, in fact, are neither connected nor familiar with each other; they casually met in hospital. "She" (Viktoria Tolstoganova) does not see that she is in danger in connection with her plan to use a tape with illegally made recordings as compromising evidence in court. "He" (Il'ia Shakunov, an actor of the Petersburg TYuZ) is a gay translator who, after the random meeting with her, is pursued by her image which frequently pops up in front of him. As a consequence, his relationship with a young boy no longer satisfies him. Both he and she lose sight of the meaning of life, because of their own inability to see others and to see love, as perception relies on proximity instead of distance.

Героиня фильма адвокат выигрывает сложное дело. Пора бы расслабиться и отпраздновать победу, но в ее руках оказывается аудиозапись, доказывающая вину клиента. Для нее вся жизнь — игра, она привыкла рисковать и играть со смертью, поэтому адвокат одновременно сообщает о находке клиенту и в прокуратуру. Ей интересно, чем кончится дело.

Ella es misteriosa, irresistible, aguda y abogada. Él es guapo, seguro de sí mismo, gay y traductor. Ella siempre está sepárandose de alguien. Él piensa que lo sabe todo acerca de sí mismo. Ella se enzarza en una batalla desigual con un oponente. Él quiere que lo dejen en paz. Ellos no se conocen pero un encuentro fugaz en un hospital hace que nadie sepa lo que puede pasar después de esta breve reunión. Las calles de Moscú... el hielo negro ...
