You are correct! Thanks so much for that. I know it's silly, and I had long since forgotten about this question, but thanks for answering. It added greatly to my understanding of that final line...and why it was important.
For anyone else who may be curious and ignorant (as I was), here's a quote:
"Generally speaking, being pot committed means having arrived at a point in a poker hand at which folding to any bet or raise has become an incorrect play."
