where the technology is a bunch of BS. I mean, what the hell are they talking about when they say that every computer has a Password file that when hacked, they have the users passwords? ALL of them. LOL.

Maybe this has never occurred to you, but many people store passwords and login info in a text file on their computer. (It used to be on a piece of paper, so we've sure come a long way haven't we?!). They think if they use a bland name and hide the file in some deep directory structure, it can't be found. What they don't realize is that one can just as easily look for the contents of files. Sean and Derek were searching for any file that literally had the word "password" in it, so that it wouldn't matter how well hidden the file was.
Now, OBVIOUSLY, when Derek says "everybody has one", that's not literal, it's hyperbole. It's a very common stylistic means in every-day speech, we use it hundreds of times a day (<- that's also hyperbole, btw). It only has to be true every so often to pay off for them.

Well, I certainly hope most people don't store their computer passwords on a text file. Then they would all be easily hacked by anyone. I suppose if you're silly enough to do that you'd probably deserve to get your facebook hacked and bank account drained. Lol. BTW, I have never heard of this. This is like leaving the combo to the safe written on a post it next to the safe.
