I can't imagine I would let my daugher go to such (2nd) exam alone, not holding her hand, even if I am looking away or I am hidden behind curtain, because anyway not braindead knows how extremely stresful it must be. I can't believe parents in the movie, especially father would be that dumb and in case they would tell me I can't go I would not let her go, especially because anyone could expect what happened next.

Personally familiar with Chinese corruption I was honestly expecting they will murder both girls when they took them away, but psychological terror proven effective too.
