With Salam now hostage to Sara’s confused and deluded plan, he battles desperately to appeal to her humanity and sway her decision. In a moment of consideration and with her convictions crumbling before her, Sara is given the opportunity to witness the life and innocence she was so willing to destroy. But is this a second chance or an admission of guilt?

Bagdad 2006, le jour de l’exécution de Saddam Hussein, Sara se rend à la gare centrale avec l’intention de commettre un attentat suicide. Un funeste projet qui sera compromis par sa rencontre avec Salam, un vendeur charmeur, baratineur et sûr de lui. Alors qu’il devient l’otage du plan confus de Sara, Salam tente par tous les moyens de faire chanceler sa résolution. Il en appelle à son humanité pour sauver sa peau, mais aussi la vie des passants, inconscients du danger qui les guette.

Kobieta planuje wysadzić się w powietrze na głównej stacji bagdadzkiej kolei. Niestety nie wszystko idzie po jej myśli, bowiem jej plany odkrywa przechodzący obok niej Salam i szybko zostaje jej zakładnikiem. "Podróż" trzyma w napięciu od pierwszej do ostatniej minuty.
