In fact, I thought that old Mel Gibson movie kind of sucked even though it received a rating of 6.4 on IMDB. "What Men Want" (2019) received only a 4.4 rating, but I enjoyed it much more. I think it had more to do with what the person could hear that was much more funny than what Mel Gibson was hearing.

I rewatched What Woman Want, and even though it has its moments, the movie is mostly pretty standard and the ENDING left a LOT to be desired (it just kinda...ended!) I imagine this quasi sequel could improve on that...especially how MEN think. lol
