What's that got to do with it? In the movie she looks Indian. The actual person that character is based on, Rebekah Rombom, is very white. The Rombom surname originated in the UK as far as I can tell.

And then there's her father in the film, clearly not Anglo or Euro-American.

It does, and she may very well be Jewish, which is far from Indian.

Why choose a thin actress to play a plump character, or one with hair (or a hair piece) to play a bald one? (Alison Janney and Ray Romano)

I can actually see a resemblance between Hugh Jackman and Frank Tassone, though.

I care, because it's part of a trend as of late to cast dark people as morally upright characters with little to no flaws especially contrasted against immoral, criminal or deficient white people. I see it ALL the time in 2020 ffs. In this case, the actual human being the character is based on is not Indian. Why bother nailing all the other characters but not this one?

Get into historical Chinese films; everyone in them will have come out of the oven at just the right time. If you're not keen on golden-coloured people either, I guess that Thomas Robb has probably put out some films that will be more to your taste.
