توافق (صباح) المطربة المشهورة على سفر ابنتها (هويدا) للعمل بالقاهرة بأحد الملاهى الليلية. تتعرف هويدا على (شريف) وتحبه، يخبر شريف والده حسن برغبته فى الزواج من هويدا، يستنكر الأب تصرف ابنه، فهو قد وقف من قبل ضد زواج أخيه (علي) من والدة هويدا وما زال يعيش ذكريات حبه لها، لا يجد شريف من سبيل إلا أن يخبر عمه بمأساته، فيشجعه على الاستمرار في حبه والحفاظ عليه والفوز بقلب من يحب.
