Thunder looked like a Garbage Pail Kid at the end

Who else thought so when he was about to explode? i always did when i saw him inflated first time when i saw this at the movies as a kid and i was collecting GPK cards at the time, i bet every 80s kid thought the same thing.
Then he exploded into toss salad.

Before seeing the movie, I repeatedly saw people use a screenshot of that scene as their avatars. I kept trying to think which Garbage Pail Kid it was.
Any truth to the rumors of a remake? I like The Rock & wish him well but part of what made the original such a classic was being caught off guard by the amusement park atmosphere.

Yes I was completely reminded of that too. I was heavily into collecting GPK at the time (had the complete first 5 series at least).
Chucky also looked like one at the end of Child's Play 2 before he blew up.
