(زهيرة) فتاة فقيرة تعيش مع قريبها الثري (عزيز الناجي)، ترغب زوجته (ألفت) في التخلص من زهيرة، فتسهل زواجها من (عبده) وهو فران بسيط، لكن زهيرة تتطلع إلى ما هو أعلى وأفضل من الفران، يساعدها فتوة الحي على الطلاق من عبده والزواج من الرجل الثري (محمد الفسخاني).

(Zahira) is a poor girl who lives with her rich relative (Aziz Al-Naji). His wife (Alfat) wants to get rid of Zahira, so she facilitates her marriage to (Abdo), a simple baker. However, Zahira is looking for something higher and better than the baker. The neighborhood bully helps her divorce Abdo and marry the rich man (Mohamed Al-Faskhani).
