Its a slasher flick, plots are not exactly their strong points. But I agree that I don't get what all the hype is about. Pretty mediocre IMO.

I don't even think it's bad writing, I guess it was all intended. The clichê of characters doing dumb things. As the old woman, who's only reason to murder is because she was in heat and jealous of those young ppl having sex.

Yep, Mia Goth plays the old woman too, she's called Pearl. Then just after this movie finished recording they recorded another movie called Pearl, which is a prequel showing her life when she was young.

Anyway, I wonder how they convinced Mia Goth to make her nudes on a so bad movie, anyway I'm glad they did.

EH, movie wasn't THAT bad. I think I gave it a 7. I liked the heavy Texas Chain Saw massacre vibes. You know, that folks out in the country are really depraved maniacs.

If I'm not remembering wrong, it wasn't the 1st movie she does nude, it's a movie about an asylum on an island and a mad doctor.

There are other bad movies she did nude too, I remember one about a failure writer that goes on a trip to an island country and things get very messed up.

But let me state it, most movies she does is great and sadly on many of them she doesn't do nude. Marrowborn is awesome and very touching, specially for the events that aren't portrayed and we suspect happened based on very slight hints.
