As someone who enjoys most Marvel output (including "Marvels") I have to say that I'm only going to see this one out of loyalty while "Thunderbolts*" looks like fun. I suspect that many feel the same.
Don't know. Non-multiverse Marvel films haven't really done very well in phases 4 and 5. Still maybe after a year of only one Marvel film may give it the breathing room for people to want to see it. So it's a toss up.
It wasn't the best Marvel movie ever and Giancarlo Esposito was so out of his depth in this that it wasn't even funny anymore. Giancarlo can play the boss villain but as a henchman he just doesn't convince. Chris Evans was fighting UFC fighters in his Captain America movies.
Both the President's female bodyguards were the worst characters in Marvel movie history. DEI gone crazy. Also there were too many Hulk villains and at times it felt like Anthony Mackie hijacked the filming of a Hulk sequel pranking its crew than an actual Marvel movie with him as the star. Mackie had a serious case of imposter syndrome in this movie not just with replacing Chris Evans but with Hulk mythology too.
It's at $192M now ($100M domestic), which is pretty good. It'll definatly beat all of The Marvel's box office run on it's first week alone at this rate.

'Scuse me for asking: Can anyone vouch for or rule against Kraven the Hunter? I ask since I'm interested, I always dug the guy, and I suspect that it's standalone Marvel.

It's Sony Spidyverse Marvel. It's not MCU. Disney/Marvel had nothing to do with it.
Saw Brave New World yesterday. Went in with low expectations, but did enjoy it. Fare from the best entry in the MCU but worth a watch for the True Believers.
So, it didn't even make back enough to cover the cost of re-shoots. That's too ba-ha-ha-ha-had. Ooops, I mean that's too bad because it hopefully, er, I mean probably means we won't see a sequel.

I wouldn't count on it. Sam's Captain America is going to be a major character in the next two Avengers movies as stated by the Russos.

The box office projections are quite positive, where a 'Brave New (American) World' in this new era has begun from 2025 onwards.

I generally agree. But Avengers Infinty War / Endgame has that, too. And they were a massive success. So there is that.

A side question: Is Harrison Ford an apt replacement for Hurt as General Ross? I’m not new to the boards, but I am working on getting up to speed.
