Two alley cats, Babbitt and Catsello, decide to make a meal out of Orson as he sleeps in his nest atop a telephone pole. The gullible (and loud) Catsello is repeatedly gulled into trying to "get the bird," earning a variety of thrashings from the casually murderous little canary. Catsello finally resorts to an air strike (with a pair of wooden boards for wings), but it's wartime, and Orson has the cat blasted out of the sky by anti-aircraft guns.

Deux chats de gouttière, Babbitt et Catsello, décident de faire leur repas avec Orson pendant qu'il dort dans son nid au sommet d'un poteau téléphonique. Le crédule (et bruyant) Catsello est amené à plusieurs reprises à essayer de "capturer l'oiseau", accumulant une variété de raclées de la part de ce petit canari à la désinvolture meurtrière. Catsello recourt finalement pour une frappe aérienne (avec une paire de planches de bois pour les ailes), mais c'est le temps de la guerre, et Orson a fait sauter le chat dans le ciel par des canons anti-aériens.
