讲述一个少妇一夜间的故事。BAE Doo-na饰演的 Geum-soon 奉子成婚，而丈夫则是大学时当她仍是大学排球队代表时的忠实观众。可是她的经历并非如她所说的如意。婚后她似乎不太懂做一位太太。而丈夫在第一天上班时亦 不順利，和同事们下班后到处喝酒，饮得烂醉。而Geum-soon 就要背着她那六个月大的女儿一起找回丈夫，可是并没有想过当中过程原来极为艰巨。电影中的主角是BAE Doo-na ，而她在电影中的演出亦极为突出。曾扮演过少女和二十多岁女子的她，今次来一个大转变，演一名少妇。而电影的起初亦看得出她的形象极不讨好，完全是一个「师奶」的款式。电影要求她亦是一名「师奶强人」。BAE Doo-na 的演技亦是十分成熟。骤眼看來亦难以看得出她的真实年龄。

Geum-soon, once a top-ranked volleyball player, is now a common housewife with a six-month old daughter and a clumsy husband. On the first day her husband goes to work, she spends the day taking care of her little daughter who never stops crying. While Gum-soon is busy cleaning her house upon hearing her parents-in-law are coming on the next day, she gets a phone call from a club that they've arrested her husband for an unpaid bill. Amidst the merciless threatening of the gang in the club, Geum-soon rushes out into the night streets, still carrying her baby on her back. It's past midnight with less than three hours to go before her in-laws arrive. In the seediest part of Seoul, Geum-soon's husband is practically being held for ransom for the alcohol he didn't drink, Geum-soon has no clue where the bar is, two rival gangs are chasing after her, the pot is boiling at home, and her daughter is wailing while Geum-soon is leaping over trash cans in a dark alley.

다소 어리버리 하지만 그래도 믿음직스럽고 사랑스런 남편, 준태(김태우 분) ‘일명 오빠’가 첫 출근하는 날! 6개월 된 송이(이찬민 분)가 밤새 보채는 바람에 잠도 설치고 늦잠까지 자느라 아침부터 정신이 하나도 없던 하루. 첫 출근인데, 아침밥은 고사하고 등판에 다리미 자국이 버젓이 난 와이셔츠를 입혀보내고 나니 찝찝하기도 하고 미안하기도 한 초보 주부 정금순(배두나 분). 기분 전환이나 할겸 오랜만에 배구 경기장에 가 보지만, 애기 들쳐업고 초라하게 서 있는 자신을 보니 이젠 남의 무대가 된 듯한 코트에서 소외감만 느낀다.
