职业杀手众木一广（天知茂 饰）受雇刺杀来东京办事的神户税关长，行动成功后他被雇主告发，受到警方通缉。情急之下，众木劫持正在路边给男友打电话的小月留美（三原葉子 饰）。留美是一名舞蹈演员，她收到神户新日本艺能社发来的录用函，准备告别男友真山俊夫（吉田輝雄 饰）前往神户。由于众木的武力要挟，留美被迫和其踏上惊心动魄的神户之旅，途中她窥准时机留下暗号，渴望得到救援。

The murder of the chief official of Kobe city's Customs triggers an investigation of a prostitution ring called the 'Yellow Line' that sells Japanese women. A hired assassin is betrayed by his organization, and kidnaps a woman who happens to be the girlfriend of a newspaper reporter.

Un tueur est sur le chemin de sa vengeance. Il va faire la rencontre d'une mignonne jeune femme, Yoko Mihara, danseuse devant se rendre à Kobe pour un nouvel emploi dont elle ignore la vraie nature. Le trio se complète avec un journaliste, Teruo Yoshida, parti officiellement enquêter sur le réseau de prostitution « Yellow Line », mais aussi à la recherche de sa petite copine, enlevée par un tueur en fuite.
