"You're on the clock, bitch, and midnight is coming" ...haha, Popeye rules.
"GIVE ME SOME CHONE CHONE!" Popeye definitely had some great lines in this movie. Him and Big Al both stole the show. This movie is so great because it is unintentionally so funny
Lol, absolutely. Glad to find another fan of this movie. The whole thing is endlessly quotable. "You know what I mean, jellybean?"
Oh. I'm a superfan of this movie. Probably seen it 50 times. I own the VHS tape w the subtitles. In college we used to watch it in the dorms just about every weekend it seemed Then we would all start quoting lines from it. For instance my roommate bombed his midterm in history. He was freaking out. " what am I gonna tell my dad" he fretted. " TELL HIM TO SUCK HIS PEE PEE" was my reply. Then we both cracked up laughing
I got this on Netflix DVD titles as "Blood In, Blood Out." Really good story. I especially liked the way the characters would use some Chicano slang, and then repeat it in English. Like Sesame Street for gabachos. Director was a white dude. I lived all my life in Los Angeles and I've never met a Hispanic man named "Miklo" what the hell is that?
