中国台湾演员，出生于台湾省台中县，父亲曾经是高级警官、台中县警察局局长，祖籍辽宁省。曾在台中二中短暂就读，后入台北世界新闻职业学校广播电视科毕业，并曾于英国戏剧学院进修一年。他主演的《梅花三弄》，《倚天屠龙记》等剧，深受观众的欢迎。2000年以后在内地出现较多，主演了尤小刚的秘史系列《孝庄秘史》、《太祖秘史》。还与范冰冰等合作了新版《封神榜》。

Steve Ma Jingtao is a Taiwanese actor best known for acting in many Taiwanese, mainland Chinese and Singaporean television series since the early 1990s. Most of the more notable television series he acted in are of the wuxia and historical drama genres.
