Kevin Peter Hall (May 9, 1955 – April 10, 1991) was an American actor known for his roles in Misfits of Science, Prophecy, Without Warning, and Harry and the Hendersons. He was also best known as the title character in the first two films in the Predator franchise. Kevin Peter Hall, né le 9 mai 1955 à Pittsburgh en Pennsylvanie et mort le 10 avril 1991 à Hollywood en Californie, est un acteur américain. Du fait de sa grande taille (2,19 m), il a surtout joué des rôles de monstre/extraterrestre. Son visage est très peu connu du public, car il était costumé des pieds à la tête. C'est lui qui a incarné le célèbre Predator dans les deux premiers films Predator. On aperçoit d'ailleurs son visage à la fin de Predator où il joue le rôle du pilote de l'hélicoptère qui vient chercher Arnold Schwarzenegger dans la jungle juste après l'explosion nucléaire. Il apparaît en 1986 dans la célèbre et courte série de fiction Misfits of Science (Superminds en France). Il y tient un rôle de géant scientifique qui a le pouvoir de rétrécir, accompagné d'une bande de jeunes gens qui ont des pouvoirs différents. Il est mort du VIH, virus qu'il a contracté quelques mois avant le tournage de Predator 2, lors d'une transfusion sanguine. |
