مثلة مصرية. تخرجت في كلية الآداب قسم مكتبات عام 1984. بدأت في مسرح الطليعة، وكان أول عمل لها المشاركة في مونو دراما (نوبة صحيان)، ثم عملت مع محمد صبحي فى مسرحية (وجهة نظر)، ومع لينين الرملي في مسرحيات عديدة منها (وجع دماغ، الحادثة). اكتسبت شهرة كبيرة من عملها في المسلسلات التلفزيونية مثل (ليالي الحلمية، لن أعيش في جلباب أبي، الشهد والدموع، هوانم جاردن سيتي). شاركت في السينما في أفلام (الوداع يا بونابرت، اليوم السادس، سيداتي آنساتي، قشر البندق)، كما شاركت في سينما الشباب في أفلام (اللمبي، كلم ماما، اللي بالي بالك، خالتي فرنسا).
