Discuss Tina Turner

The great Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock) passed today, age 83. I've been a fan since the late '60s, and recall especially vividly and fondly, from that general era, her wildly energetic 1971 t.v. performances of "Proud Mary". I was a kid back then.

Miss Turner was an exceptional, unique, and truly memorable artist and entertainer.

A few of my other fave TT hits:

"What's Love Got To Do With It" (1984)

"We Don't Need Another Hero" (1985)

"One Of The Living" (1985)

"Golden Eye" (1995)

The lady had undeniable commanding camera presence and was a real show-stopper. And could she ever deliver a song!

Mega-star Tina Turner truly was a living legend.

RIP. 🌹
