Ronan Keating is a singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known as co-lead singer of the Irish boy band Boyzone.
For the soundtrack of the movie "Notting Hill (1999)" he recorded his version of the song "When You Say Nothing at All (original 1988, by Keith Whitley)" in 1999, which reached number one in the UK Charts.
In that same year he left the group to start a solo career and has released eleven studio albums (Pop): "Ronan (2000)", "Destination (2002)", "Turn It On (2003)", "Bring You Home (2006)", "Songs for My Mother (2009)", "Winter Songs (2009)", "Duet (2010)", "When Ronan Met Burt (2011)", "Fires (2012)", "Time of My Life (2016)" and "Twenty Twenty (2020)".
He also released a compilation album (Pop): "10 Years of Hits (2004)".
"Ronan (2000)", "Destination (2002)", "Songs for My Mother (2009)" and "10 Years of Hits (2004)" debuted at number one in the UK Albums Chart.
The singles "When You Say Nothing at All (1999)", "Life Is a Rollercoaster (2000)" and "If Tomorrow Never Comes (2002)" reached number one in the UK Charts.
As an actor he appeared in television series like "Mrs. Brown's Boys: The Original Series" and "Love Child", and in the movies "Shelltown the Meggabike (2003)", "Keith Lemon: The Film (2012)", "Goddess (2013)" and "Another Mother's Son (2017)".
