Extra Details: Please lock the death date, which I've verified as official, therefore it should definitely be accurate.

Mr. Dudley's Wikipedia article for some reason states that he died on 15 Sept. 1955. However the official California Death Index clearly indicates otherwise, that he died on 12 Nov. 1955 (which, incidentally, is the date that IMDb accurately also indicates).

I added a clarifying note at the end of Mr. Dudley's biography text, plus an asterisk following where the Sept. 15 death date appears in the bio text, so that readers will have their attention drawn down to the clarifying note that points out the discrepancy and indicates the correct date.

FYI: I strongly suspect that where whomever wrote Robert Dudley's Wikipedia article got the Sept. 15 death date from is Find A Grave, as whomever created or contributed to his memorial there presented that date. Of course Find A Grave is a contributor-added database, that anyone can indicate anything on, therefore definitely just because a memorial there states this or that doesn't make every detail for sure accurate. (I've for years been an active, respected contributor on Find A Grave, so am thoroughly familiar with the problem issue there when someone - usually either a novice to genealogy or someone who simply does sloppy, careless work - who has their details wrong, indicates whatever, then everyone else, who doesn't independently know otherwise from their own competent, careful personal research, accepts it as fact and repeats the wrong detail[s] all over the internet.)
