Terrific Scottish singer Duffy in the UK neo retro soul pop category. More on the approachable Joss Stone level than the Adele/Amy Winehouse stratasphere. Her 2008 release Rockferry brought her acclaim. Her recent out of the limelight status explained by a horrible explanation. No one it seems is beyond the reach of violent crime. We wish Duffy well in her recovery and return.
