I know at the moment I may be a one-woman-show on this board, but maybe one day this might be useful to someone....
As I've gotten sick of the "He will only ever be Ramsay Bolton to me!" type of comments in regards to Iwan or just general talk of him being creepy/bad-guy typecasted, I've decided to do a list of all the roles I've seen Iwan in where he is NOT playing someone creepy or a bad-guy/villain.
So going down his credits from this site (the shows/films I've seen) from most recent back, his NOT creepy/villain roles are:
2019: Berlin I Love You (Embassy) -- The rightness or wrongness of what the character does may be debatable (we don't get details), but his character isn't a villain nor is he creepy. He's presented as someone trying to do what's right.
2018: Hurricane (aka Mission of Honor) -- Plays a WWII fighter pilot flying during the Battle of Britain with the RAF against the Germans. He's a hero in the film. Definitely NOT a villain or creepy.
2016: Aberfan: The Green Hollow -- Small role, but as the first journalist on the scene of a mining disaster who joins the rescue effort, he's definitely NOT a villain or creepy.
2015 Residue -- The show is very creepy, but there's nothing creepy or villainous about his character.
2014 Our Girl — His character has issues and is flawed, but he's a good guy in essence. Quite sweet in many ways.
2014 Under Milk Wood as Drowned / Evans the Death -- Other than the creepy sounding names, there's nothing creepy/bad about him in this.
2013 The Liberator -- Plays a loyal ally to Simon Bolivar. Nothing creepy or villainous about him (unless you find revolution inherently villainous) .
2013 Vicious — Plays the super sweet guy living upstairs to the main couple. The OPPOSITE of a bad guy.
2012 The Rise -- Best pal of the protagonist. Not creepy or a villain (unless you believe committing ANY type of crime makes one a villain).
2012 The Back of Beyond -- He's harassed by a really creepy guy, but his character seems a normal, good guy.
2011 Secret Diary of a Call Girl -- His scene with the call girl is pretty funny. Not a villain or creepy (unless you think anyone who would ever go to a call girl is a villain. LOL.)
2011 Resistance -- The character does one thing that disturbs a lot of people, but not for a creepy or villainous reason. He's a member of the resistance to a Nazi invasion, so he's on the good guy side.
2010 I Don't Care -- Caregiver for his mum. Not a saint throughout, but definitely NOT a villain.
2010 Grandma's House -- Character is quirky and odd and a bit mean in his second episode (but so too is just about everyone in the series!!), but he's not creepy and he's not a villain.
2009 Misfits — He does act rather creepy at times in the first season, but transforms into the opposite in season 2 on and is basically a hero in the show, so I'm counting this despite some early-run creepiness. He's never a villain in it.
(If anyone actually sees this (LOL!) and knows any roles to add, please do!) -- Edited: I'm adding two roles that weren't on the original version of the list (since I've seen them now)--short film "I Don't Care" and "Secret Diary of a Call Girl".

I've only seen him in Misfits. I have a vague recollection of Residue but I honestly don't know if I watched it or just read what happened.
Anyway, Simon was my favorite character on Misfits and I liked his creepiness. Somehow I found it charming.
Can't wait to see him in Inhumans.

Yay! Congrats on being the first person other than me to post in Iwan's discussion page!
:
But...yeah, creepy and all, Simon's a great character (and Iwan is great in it). I saw Residue via Netflix. I believe it's still available there.

Thought it worth adding that Iwan's currently filming a movie called "Hurricane" in which he plays Jan Zumbach, a real-life Pole who was a decorated pilot with the RAF fighting against the Germans in WWII. Based on what I know of him, he was no saint, but I find it hard to believe he's going to be portrayed as either a villain or creepy. Not adding it to the list since I obviously haven't seen it (and if I'm wrong, I'll post a correction), but sounds like Iwan is playing someone closer to a hero than a villain.

I've now seen S.U.M.1 and Daisy Winters---I won't add them to the list because there is an element of creepy to both characters (at least at times), but Iwan is not a villain in either film.
