Biography

Deirdre was born and raised in Cumberland RI into Irish-Italian, military family. As a teen, she started acting in New England and when she won best monologue and best actress at "Talent America" offers from agents and managers lured her to NYC. She s spent four years falling in love with New York City while flexing her theater muscles studying at Fordham University in NYC where she double-majored in Theater and Psychology.

Deirdre found herself in Los Angeles after an impromptu road-trip and quickly became involved with the Groundlings Improv Theater and The Steve Eastin Acting Studio. Deirdre found her first big break in Television when Sam Mendes held a casting call in NY and LA for two roles and cast her as both of them for his Directors Art Promo on HBO. Deirdre's has also made recent TV appearances on Parks and Recreation, E-Ring, several feature, indie and short films, voice-overs and commercials. Her most recent television appearances showcase her in extreme sketch scenarios, as a recurring character on Nick Swardson's Pretend Time on Comedy Central. In this show, she had the opportunity to really stretch her comedic repertoire whilst playing opposite many of todays comedy giants (such as Bob Odenkirk, Rob Riggle, Kevin Farley, Adam Scott ....to name just a few) in the sketches: Nanastall, Creepios, Masturbating Sniper and more.

You can see Deirdre in theaters in SuperAthlete co-starring with Tony Sirico (Sopranos), Faran Tafir (Ironman) and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future).She also just completed the psychological thriller,Coffin.

After completing a small role in Stay With Me (winner of 9 international short film festivals) with Christina Ochoa, Deirdre became writing partners with Ochoa and joined QE Productions as producing partner. QE Productions has several projects in production.

Deirdre is a big fan of the outdoors and lists a long history of hiking, camping, scuba diving, swimming and most recently completing the "Camino de Santiago" (a 30-day pilgrimage in the north of Spain) to her personal resume. She is also a former team member (and big fan) of the Los Angeles Dodgeball Society. Deirdre has taken several trips abroad to volunteer including her work with the Sisters of Charity in Calcutta, India and also working with several charities in Australia and New Zealand. She resides and works in Los Angeles.
