Born in 1980 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow State University of Printing Arts, specializing as a graphic artist. Having graduated, Soldatov worked in painting and design. He then enrolled at the Rodchenko Moscow Photography and Multimedia School (2010-2014), in Krill Preobrazhensky’s studio. Soldatov applies his interest in new media, in particular video to the creation of narrative statements studying the language of film and video art.

Родился в 1980 году в Москве. В 2002 году окончил МГУП по специальности «художник-график». Учился в Московской школе фотографии и мультимедиа им. А. Родченко. Лауреат премии Кандинского в номинации «Молодой художник» (2014).
