Biography

Tung Wei Ye (1995, Malaysia) is now pursuing an MFA in directing at Taipei National University of the Arts. His works are mostly shorts, made out of his personal experience and private feelings. Nevertheless, his films still present social issues in a different way as he views the people and spaces in Taiwan from a foreigner’s perspective. He was the cinematographer of Reprise, a short film selected for Busan International Film Festival. Tung’s works were screened at film festivals in Hong Kong, Australia, United States and etc.
