Excellent Marilyn Monroe photos montage accompanied by Elton John's and Bernie Taupin's "A Candle in the Wind" (1973/74).
Marilyn was born Norma Jeane Mortenson in 1926. She died, age 36, in 1962.

Madonna's "Material Girl" music video (1985) paid a very obvious homage (see from 0:58) to Marilyn Monroe's performance of "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" in the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
