Lorena M. Santos (born in 1974 in Santa Ana, El Salvador) is an American actress. As a child, she moved with her single mother and three siblings to Los Angeles, California. She showed an early interest in acting and played a supporting role as a prostitute (under the name Lorena Martinez) in 8mm (1999). She also appeared in Las cosas simples (1993) and the TV series American Crime Story (2016), where she was seen as Hispanic Juror (uncredited). After her early acting career, she got married and withdrew from the film industry to focus on her family and a career in business. More than 15 years later, she returned to acting to pursue her true passion. Today, she lives in Sherman Oaks, California, spends time with her two sons and extended family, and dedicates herself to creative hobbies like decorating and writing poetry.
