Why did he stop acting?

There was a period of a few years when Simon Woods was rarely off the air, certainly on British TV. He was a good, charismatic actor and always a welcome presence. Then he vanished - according to his bio he married his partner, the chief exec of Burberry in 2012 but has not appeared on our screens in a decade now. Anybody know what he's up to?
