Biography

Luís Gaspar (Lisbon, May 19, 1936) is a Portuguese filmmaker who stopped working in the late 1970s.

He began working in the field of advertising film, after attending a course in England promoted, among other organizations, by the London School of Film Technics. On his return to Portugal, he was involved in the production of around two thousand advertising films. He is an announcer. He worked for radio for many years and also worked on the educational film

With the Carnation Revolution, he joined the production team at the Portuguese Film Institute, where he produced and directed a program of six documentaries on the Agrarian Reform.
