Periodically, he travelled as assistant to his father through Europe and America, in the 1990s; worked with a performing arts group, 1996; was involved in Toggle and Snoggle multi-media groups, involving artists, musicians and designers, with Chocolate Factory Arts Expo, World Dance Ltd, and as an assistant for Linda Fleming and for Garner & Garner on occasions in 1997–8; from 1998 being a self-employed designer and sculptor.

He had a solo show of new work at Cass Sculpture Foundation in 2004.
