Jimmy Nirula was a well-known Indian film producer and a respected executive in the Indian entertainment industry. Before entering the world of filmmaking, he held a senior leadership position at His Master's Voice (HMV), one of India’s top music labels, where he played a key role in business strategy and development.

In the late 1980s, he moved into Hindi cinema and began producing films that appealed to wide audiences. His successful productions include Kasam Vardi Kee (1989), Jaan Tere Naam (1992), Sainik (1993), and Insaaf: The Final Justice (1997). He had a strong sense of what audiences wanted and focused on delivering high-quality commercial films.
