Biography

Shri Ganpat Kothari (Chairman-Kothari Group) was born in 1966 at Jasol Barmer, Rajasthan, and educated in Falna, Pali district. In 1984, he moved to Mumbai and in 1989 founded "Kothari Fabtex," expanding the company across India and abroad. Under his leadership, Kothari Fabtex Pvt. Ltd. became a market leader in blouse fabrics, cotton blends, and embroidered dress materials, with a strong domestic and international presence.

In 2008, he entered film production by founding Aantarik Films, debuting with the Marathi film "Valu," which won the Zee Cine Award and earned acclaim at major international festivals including Rotterdam, Warsaw, Karlovy Vary, and Locarno. "Valu" was also considered for an Oscar nomination.

Beyond films, he ventured into real estate with a 300-bungalow project in Jodhpur and expanded into imitation jewellery and trading, establishing branches in Mumbai, Bhiwandi, Pali, and Spain. Ganpat Kothari is a member of IMPPA and Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal, and actively supports various social causes. He emphasizes quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction in all ventures.

He has received many awards, including Times Inspiring Entrepreneur by TOI, Rashtra Bhakt Award by Gen G D Bakshi & Chandra Kumar Bose, Samaj Gaurav Award by Hon. He is Chief Founder and Patron of Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), Founder of Falna Jain Sangh Pariwar and Marwar Ekta Parishad, and Founder Member & Trustee of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti.

He served as Former President of Ahimsa Art Gallery, Trustee & Former Treasurer of Hindustan Chamber of Commerce, Former Vice President Bharat Jain Mahamandal, Former Treasurer of JITO JATF, Trustee of Acharya Mahapragya School & College, Trustee of JITO Administrative Training Foundation (JATF), Apex Member & Director of Mahaveer International, Vice President of Terapanthi Sabha Mumbai, Vice President of Pali Mandal, State FCI Consultative Committee (Gov of India), and Vice President of Balotra Jasol Pravasi Sangh.
