طارق تقية هو مخرج وكاتب سيناريو جزائري، ولد بالجزائر العاصمة في 12 ديسمبر 1966.

بعد دراسة الفلسفة والفنون البصرية، عمل طارق تقية مصورًا مستقلاً لصحيفة يومية جزائرية، ومساعد مصور وأستاذ تاريخ الفن المعاصر في مدرسة الجزائر العاصمة للفنون الجميلة. في عام 2001، ناقش أطروحته للدكتوراه في جامعة باريس الثامنة بعنوان روبرت فرانك، خيالات رسم الخرائط.

بدأ الإخراج بأربعة أفلام قصيرة: "حركة Kech'mouvement" (1996)، "Le Chien" (1996)، "Ferrailles d'attendance" (1998) و"La Clôture" (2002). ويعتبر فيلم "Rome Where Que Vous" الذي تم توزيعه في فرنسا عام 2008، أول فيلم روائي طويل له. يروي الفيلم بضع ساعات من مغادرة زينة (سميرة قدور) وكامل (رشيد عمراني) في إحدى ضواحي الجزائر العاصمة، لا مادراج، بحثًا عن طريقة غير محتملة لمغادرة الجزائر. عُرض الفيلم في مهرجان البندقية السينمائي عام 2007، وفي مهرجان بلفور 2007 (جائزة لجنة التحكيم الكبرى وجائزة أفضل ممثلة لسميرة قدور) وفي مهرجان فريبورغ 2007 (جائزة لجنة التحكيم الخاصة).

شارك فيلمه "داخل" (جابلا) (2008) في المنافسة في مهرجان البندقية السينمائي عام 2008. وفي عامي 2007 ثم في عام 2013، منحه مهرجان Entrevues السينمائي الدولي في بلفور جائزتين كبيرتين، على التوالي، عن فيلمه الطويل "روما". بدلاً منك"، وفيلمه الروائي "ثورة الزندج".

Tariq Teguia (Arabic: تقية طارق) is an Algerian director and screenwriter born in Algiers on December 12, 1966.

After studying philosophy and visual arts, Tariq Teguia was a freelance photographer for an Algerian daily newspaper, assistant to a photographer and professor of contemporary art history at the Algiers School of Fine Arts. In 2001, he defended his doctoral thesis at Paris VIII University entitled Robert Frank, cartographic fictions.

He began directing with four short films: "Kech'mouvement" (1996), Le Chien (1996), Ferrailles d'attendance (1998) and La Clôture (2002). “Rome Rather Que Vous”, distributed in France in 2008, is his first feature film. The film recounts a few hours of Zina (Samira Kaddour) and Kamel (Rachid Amrani) leaving in a suburb of Algiers, La Madrague, in search of an improbable way to leave Algeria. The film was presented at the Venice Film Festival in 2007, at the Belfort Festival 2007 (Grand Jury Prize and Best Actor Prize for Samira Kaddour) and at the Friborg Festival 2007 (Special Jury Prize).

His film "Inland" (Gabbla) (2008) was presented in competition at the 2008 Venice Film Festival. In 2007 and then in 2013, the Entrevues International Film Festival in Belfort awarded him two grand prizes for, respectively, his feature film " Rome Rather Than You", and his feature film Revolution "Zendj".

Tariq Teguia (en arabe : تقية طارق) est un réalisateur et un scénariste algérien né à Alger le 12 décembre 19661.

Après des études de philosophie et d'arts plastiques, Tariq Teguia a été photographe pigiste pour un quotidien algérien, assistant d'un photographe et professeur d'histoire de l'art contemporain à l'École des beaux-arts d'Alger. En 2001, il soutient à l’université Paris VIII sa thèse de doctorat intitulée Robert Frank, fictions cartographiques.

Il débute dans la réalisation avec quatre courts métrages : "Kech'mouvement" (1996), Le Chien (1996), Ferrailles d'attente (1998) et La Clôture (2002). "Rome Plutôt Que Vous", distribué en France en 2008, est son premier long métrage. Le film raconte quelques heures de Zina (Samira Kaddour) et Kamel (Rachid Amrani) partis dans une banlieue d'Alger, La Madrague, à la recherche d'un improbable moyen de quitter l'Algérie. Le film a été présenté au Festival de Venise en 2007, au festival de Belfort 2007 (Grand Prix du jury et prix d'interprétation pour Samira Kaddour) et au festival de Fribourg 2007 (Prix spécial du jury).
