Yeah, right. The only thing HC’s SM was a symbol of was good looks. Empty, shallow, hallow good looks. It had no depth and sucked. And I’m not saying that because he pissed me off.

Thank goodness you know better, because there’s a more plausible and less crazy explanation for HC’s look.

I think that HC had a full isolation beard, but he shaved it so it’d look like his MI6 beard. The MI6 stache caused a lot of trouble. I think HC was just having some fun and… unwillingly traumatized fans by bringing back the JL CGI stache memory.

Shaving his chest, on the other hand, wasn’t for fun… or to spite you. I bet HC cried more than you when he shaved his chest with the multi groomer. But it’s not really nice to attend an online watch party in a tank top with a chest full of hair. That’s hot in selfies and self-made vids. So it was either the tank top or the chest hair. According to a Tweet from Youtube personality Grace Randolph, Henry Cavill is in final talks with Warner Brothers to return as Superman, with Randolph sharing that the talks could conclude any day now. This news is coming fresh off Warner Brother’s announcement to revive the Snyder Cut of Justice League on HBO Max, which is set to be either a 4-hour feature film or a six-part miniseries.

I am happy to see the actor return to the role, as he has elevated Clark Kent/Superman even when the material wasn’t the best.

Personally, I hope Cavill’s return marks more of the George Reeves-esque presence that we saw in the Justice League. Cavill’s performance was one of the lone bright spots in that bombastic mess, capturing Superman’s likable everyman personality with charm and a sly sense of humor.

Henry Cavill May Keep Playing Superman As The DCEU Reassembles

Though the nature of those future projects remains unclear.

But the current arrangement might mean that Cavill’s Superman reappears in some sort of cameo or supporting role in future projects.

Wonder Woman 1984 and the new Suicide Squad are already done, so it won’t be those. It wouldn’t make any sense for him to show up in Matt Reeves The Batman, if that’s even a part of the DCEU at all. So the only choices of future films that we know about would be Shazam 2, Black Adam, Aquaman 2 or The Flash movie that has been delayed so many times at this point it may have ceased to exist.

For all the criticism of the DCEU over the years, casting Henry Cavill is a literal picture perfect Superman has never really been an issue. How the character was written and used is a different story, from the “maybe you should have let those kids in the bus die” in Man of Steel to “Martha!” in Batman V. Superman [] to his CGI-infused resurrection in Justice League. In short, Cavill’s Superman has never really gotten to fully live up to his potential.

Of course Cavill may not have time for fully new Superman movies with his other current starring role playing Geralt on The Witcher, Netflix’s most watched original series in history. That show is likely to air for a few more years at least, and is no doubt a sizable time commitment for the actor. Not to say he can’t multitask, but going back to headline a superhero movie franchise and star in a streaming fantasy series is probably too tall of an order, hence the return possibly just being cameos.

I agree. ZS can’t be trusted. WB hired him to make a film for theatrical release and he delivered something that wasn’t fit for theatrical release. And the infuriating part is that he knew that what he shot was something that the studio wouldn’t release. And his wife, who was a producer, casually says that you can’t release something like this theatrically, but you could with a streaming service. But you people were supposed to make something for theater.

Those two consciously ruined it for everybody involved with the production and all the fans who were anxiously awaiting. For what? You can shoot your childhood wet dreams, but it’s pointless if nobody else sees it.

T-shirts and hoodies with Snyder's name displayed above the Justice League emblem. lol I think that WB is sending ZS a clear message. They’re not subtle about it either, because they used BR on their IG. lol

Apparently, the T-shirt started the rumor that the ZS cut would be released. Some ZS fans saw the T-shirt as a confirmation. I’m not a ZS fans. I saw the T-shirt as another attempt to keep the ZS fans excited.
