Henry Cavill Has Completed Filming Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2

The Witcher star Henry Cavill took to Instagram to confirm that he has finally completed filming his parts for Netflix’s forthcoming Enola Holmes 2, which will see him reprise the role of Sherlock Holmes. However, it’s still unclear if co-stars Millie Bobby Brown, and Helena Bonham Carter have also wrapped production on the adaptation or not.

'Enola Holmes' Graphic Novel Bridges the Gap Between Seasons

Following the success of both the novels and the Netflix film, Legendary Comics YA has revealed that they will be creating a new graphic novel titled, Enola Holmes: Mycroft’s Dangerous Game coming to readers everywhere on August 23, 2022.

Brought to us from the mind of the original novel series creator, Nancy Springer (who will get her own cameo feature in the book), the newest addition to Enola’s story will be written by Mickey George and feature artwork by Giorgia Sposito. The graphic novel will fill fans in on what their favorite young sleuth has been up to in the time between the end of the first film and the upcoming Netflix sequel which is expected sometime in 2022.

The graphic novel’s full synopsis:

Picking up where last year’s exceptionally popular film left off, readers and fans will join Enola, the rebellious teen sister of Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill), in a thrilling adventure and uncover the new mystery that she is up against. After a mysterious group of anarchists abduct her brother Mycroft (Sam Claflin), Enola investigates his disappearance in hopes of rescuing him and recovering something precious he took from her. With the help of Lord Tewkesbury and a young boy on the streets named Shag, she uncovers the truth behind her brother's abduction and unravels a web of mystery that takes her deep into the London underground as she tries to foil the anarchists’ nefarious plot!

I have a few things to say about that list.

One, the IMDb and Google users are always pleased. Unfortunately, trades look at the critics rating and those on RT.

Two, most of the content with lots ot hours viewed (hv) are not critically acclaimed. Only Irishman, Enola and maybe Extraction.

Three, Don’t Look Up got four Oscar nom. How can it get best picture with such low ratings? Maybe best original screenplay, best film editing and best original score.

Four, the two expensive films of Q4 didn’t attract enough subs. NX didn’t reach the predicted amount of new subs.

Five, I think that Don’t Look Up would have gotten more hv’s if it wasn’t released near Christmas and New Year. Some people don’t want to watch films about the world ending around that time. NX should have released it in November and Red Notice before the celebrations.

Six, I remember reading that Red Notice beat Bird Box. Are they kidding me? Sandra is the only popular celeb in that film. She reached #1 with a $19.8 mil PB and 139.2 mil subs. Red Notice needed three so-called popular celebs, a $200 mil PB and 221 mil subs to achieve a measly 82 mil more hv's than Bird Box. Of course, it can achieve that. Duh! NX had like 80 mil more subs when it was released.

BTW, Ryan Raynolds isn’t a so-called popular celeb or just an Instagram popular celeb. He’s the only one in the Red Notice trio that can carry a (non-superhero) film. His Six Underground is #8 on the list. His Free Guy was a big hit in theaters too. I’ll cut GG some slack, because WW is still her only real leading role. Let’s see if her Heart Of Stone can beat Bird Box or The Unforgivable.

Which one will you watch?

EN2 and maybe The School For Good And Evil.

What a shock. Again, the “biggest draw” in the world was afraid to be the only popular celeb in a big budget film with no built-in fan base.

His Free Guy was a big hit in theaters too.

I thought Free Guy was the adaptation of a video game. It’s not. So it did pretty well during the pandemic with no built-in fan base. I think it was just six weeks in theaters.

Let’s see if her Heart Of Stone can beat Bird Box or The Unforgivable.

Jamie Dorman was cast in Heart Of Stone. I couldn’t remember who he was, but I knew that name. He was Christian Gray in FSOG. And since I found that, I also found that Dakota Johnson aka Anastasia Steele seems to have taken some serious FSOG kinkiness home.

Times, Paramount flew more than 30 members of the HFPA to Paris for an Emily In Paris set visit. They stayed at a 5-star hotel that costs $1,400 per night and were quite literally wined and dined.

I, for one, love it when the bf flaunt the result of spending 90 minutes in the gym 4x a week. What’s the point of all that hard work if you don’t flaunt it? Yeah, shallow, but we all are young only once. The only thing wrong in the sentence is the “come over here.” It should be something like this: “Now that your eyes are pleased, I’ll come over there to please the rest of you.”
