惠英红，1960年2月2日生于香港，祖籍山东诸城，满洲正黄旗后裔，香港女演员。

1977年凭张彻导演的《射雕英雄传》中穆念慈一角正式出道，并签约邵氏电影公司。1982年凭借电影《长辈》获得第1届香港电影金像奖最佳女主角奖。1988年，年届28岁的惠英红为自资远赴巴黎拍摄全裸写真。1993年，参演电视剧《戏说乾隆2》。1997年出演电视剧《大刺客之大唐聂隐娘》。

2009年凭借电影《心魔》获得第46届台湾电影金马奖最佳女配角奖。2010年，惠英红再凭该片先后赢得第16届香港电影评论学会大奖“最佳女演员”、第4届亚洲电影大奖“最佳女配角”、第29届香港电影金像奖“最佳女主角” 、第10届华语电影传媒大奖“最佳女主角”、第10届中国长春电影节“最佳女主角” 、俄罗斯海参崴国际电影节“最佳女主角”共夺得七个奖项。2013年，在马来西亚演出了《结婚那件事》系列电影，并夺得第一届马来西亚金筝奖最佳女配角奖。2014年，凭电影《僵尸》获第33届香港电影金像奖最佳女配角奖。2015年出演3D惊悚电影《碟仙诡谭2》。2017年凭借《幸运是我》获第36届香港电影金像奖最佳女主角奖 [3] ；同年凭借《血观音》获得第54届台湾电影金马奖最佳女主角奖 。2018年3月，获得第12届亚洲电影大奖卓越亚洲电影人大奖。7月1日，向惠英红颁授铜紫荆星章。2019年4月15日，凭借电影《翠丝》获得第38届香港电影金像奖最佳女配角奖。

Kara Wai Ying-Hung (Chinese: 惠英紅, born 2 February 1960), also romanised as Kara Hui, is a Hong Kong actress of Manchu ethnicity. Known to the international audience for her kung-fu roles in Shaw Brothers Studio films in the 1970s and 1980s, Kara Wai has since portrayed a wide range of roles on screen and on television with much success. In 1982, she became the first recipient of the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress. Her portrayal of a mother in the 2009 film At the End of Daybreak won her acting awards at the Hong Kong Film Awards, Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, Changchun Film Festival, Pacific Meridian, Asian Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards.

Kara Hui Ying-hung (chinês: 惠英 紅, nascida em 2 de fevereiro de 1960), também romanizada como Kara Wai Ying Hung, é uma atriz de Hong Kong de etnia manchu. Conhecida pelo público internacional por seus papéis de kung-fu nos filmes do Shaw Brothers Studio nas décadas de 1970 e 1980, Kara Hui desde então retratou uma ampla gama de papéis na tela e na televisão com muito sucesso. Em 1982, ela se tornou a primeira a receber o Prêmio de Cinema de Hong Kong de Melhor Atriz. Sua atuação como mãe no filme At the End of Daybreak de 2009 ganhou seus prêmios de atuação no Hong Kong Film Awards, no Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, no Festival de Cinema de Changchun, no Pacific Meridian, no Asian Film Awards e no Golden Horse Awards.
