Stardom at age 42!

Not many stars get their breakthrough role in their 40s, so I thought I'd make a post about this. Adams seemed to have no real career before his fame, doing standup, odd jobs etc like a lot of actors do to make ends meet.
He got a few television appears as a comic prior to this role but nothing huge. NBC gave him a contract and when Get Smart was shopped to them they threw him in.

Loved Get Smart. I still quote from that show regularly.

As a child I was always surprised how my father could say with Smart was saying at the exact same time. I didn't understand how predictable he was
