And then to have TMDb botch up Jerry's Filmography page with all of those sloppy eraser redactions, you'd think that they should want to clear up their smears a little more professionally than that.
On this person's TMDb overview page (as well as on his thumbnail pic here on the People list of discussion threads), pictures (and titles of movies) only are blurred for users who have their TMDb setting on "Adult: No", as for everyone who has their setting on "Adult: Yes" (which means choose to see porn content) the posters, etc. readily show normally.
The blurring is designed to keep anyone from potentially getting an unexpected eyeful (including regarding explicit movie titles).
"Adult: No" is TMDb's default setting, that everyone's account automatically is set to when you create your account. Therefore, a user has to go to their personal settings and manually switch to "Yes" if expressly wanting to be able to see porn search results and the page contents thereof.
I've always kept my account set to "No". That way a gazillion different irrelevant search results won't turn up when I'm searching for a classic film, a favourite t.v. series, a documentary, etc. (which those type things, and the casts/crews thereof, are always the only type search results I personally am interested in seeing on TMDb). Every so often I need to manually reset my account to "Yes" for a few minutes, in order to be able to handle someone's submitted Content Issues report (such as someone reporting a dupe), and get a brief reminder of what all else is also posted on the site.

That is really sad all the way around.

Hi, Gen, thanks!
Oh I see. I must have decided early on to keep thing set to "No Adults" because you know how lascivious them adults can get.
