500—Ruh-roh!

We've run into an error while trying to process your request. If you would like to report this error, please visit our forums.

I'm getting the same, isn't this the forums ?

I was able to add a movie with that IMDB ID just fine. What's all of the data you're entering?

I'm getting an error aswell doing just the same as usual (you asked for an example: http://i.imgur.com/FZPoK.png -> http://i.imgur.com/L1eH4.png). it began just a couple minutes ago, I was able to add other movies before just fine. the latest movie list also doesnt seem to change (with a full refresh): http://i.imgur.com/0cUvB.png

I think it might be a failure when we try to connect to our language checking service. I've deployed a quick patch which should ignore the error and let you proceed with the addition of a new movie.

Let me know if this has corrected it for you guys. If not, I will dig deeper.

seems to be working now. thanks!

Great.

I'm trying to add tt0016917 Get 'Em Young (1926) and receive the following incomprehensible message "There was a problem It seems as though you are entering text in while browsing in English. Did you know that TMDb natively supports translations? If you believe this to be an error, stop by the forums and let us know." I am trying to add an English language film, in English, in the same way that I have added other films previously without problems.

I've added it now, I don't understand why it didn't work before.

I`m also getting that error when trying to add a new movie in the Hebrew langauge.

I'm also getting a "500 - Ruh-roh" error while trying to add a French language film called Jean Renoir, The Boss: The Rule and the Exception. Also for Raul Ruiz's The Blind Owl.

Can you guys let me know the data you are attempting to enter (title, overview, IMDB ID, etc…)?

Sure. Jean Renoir, The Boss: The Rule and the Exception IMDB ID: tt0985222 Overview: In the third part of a Cinéastes triptych on Jean Renoir, the director sits alone in a cinema analyzing scenes from La Marseillaise and The Rules of the Game, and discussing his editing and storytelling techniques. –NYFF Year: 1967 Director: Jacques Rivette

The Blind Owl IMDB ID: tt0092755 Overview: The Narrator, an Arab immigrant about 35 years, H., is in an old cinema projectionist. One day, attracted by music, he looks through the window and sees what fascinates him: the dancer in the film catches his eye. H. wants to prepare a meal for him and takes a bottle of oil. On the label he finds the image of the dancer. —lecinemaderaoulruiz.com Year: 1990 Director: Raul Ruiz
