Message Board Format

Is it possible you may format the message boards like IMDb did...in a hierarchy so it's easier to see replies to specific comments, and not everything in one long thread? I also would like to be able to get email alerts on just my own posts and not everything in the thread. For threads with a lot of replies overall, that really clogs up my email and I'm forced to unsubscribe to the thread. Thanks.

If you go to your account you can set it up so you don't receive any emails. Unfortunately though, there is no option to only receive emails from messages that reply directly to you. There's also no way to change the layout of the board.

See, I always found that board really confusing. I was never sure who was replying to who? This seems cleaner and easier to follow and by just using the quotes you can reply directly to someone, as I just did to you.
Change is always hard, I get that but we are an adaptable species overall! ;)

Yeah, I got used to the IMDb board layout after a while but at first it seemed like such an ass backwards way of formatting.

well i was 14 years at IMDb and i have to say this is not IMDb so don't expect everything to be same, just get used to it, i find it a bit offensive to admin from new people like us coming here and some of them asking to copy everything same as was in IMDb despite this site running since 2008 (though forums are new), that's like coming to China and crying why it's not everything same as in US

I was there for 15 years and I don't find my thoughts offensive at all. I asked a question and explained why.
