Please forgive me if this has been discussed elsewhere already, but... New user here, and I love the site. The functionality is wonderful, the design is simple, uncomplicated, and sleek. And... MESSAGE BOARDS! However, one thing other than MESSAGE BOARDS that I relied on from the IMDb was the Trivia/Did You Know section on their individual movie pages. Do you have any plans to implement such a feature? It would really give what is already a promising switch from the IMDb a significant shot in the arm for me, and I'm sure several other users as well.

On the possibility of trivia sections, see Travis Bell's answer here:

Hey, could you please respond to my comments on your content reports?
Please respond to my comment on your other report: Do you have any prove that your movies were actually screened somewhere, on a festival perhaps? Otherwise I'm deleting them. TMDb is not your personal press kit/promotional tool.

What information do you need, exactly? Acceptance letters? Physical copy proof? Reviews? I was under the impression this was a MOVIE database, so I was adding MOVIES. They are INDEPENDENT movies but movies all the same. If you need proof that they were screened, sold, or shown somewhere, I can provide it. Just tell me where to submit it.

We are a professional movie database, which means that any amateur movies or clips as well as school and/or student movies are generally not allowed. However, should a student film be screened at a film festival, on national TV in a country, it will be allowed - so no one-time screening in a local theater for teachers, students and family to watch/grade.
Also, if a person that is considered a professional makes a short film, that film is allowed even without it being released in any of the ways just mentioned. For example, should Blake Lively make a short film next week (added to Vimeo) we will allow that because she is a professional already.
You can submit the proof just here, on the forums. Post a link to the festival website screening your movies for example.
