The Movie Database Support

This is a description of what I just did as an example to recreate.

I was on the following tv episode adding 2 backdrops:

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/69158-the-good-fight/season/1/episode/4/images/backdrops

Then I wanted to report 2 other backdrops that can be deleted - by clicking on the report icon on that very same page at the top. I did everything as always and sent the report. But:

1.) When I look into my account under "Discussions", both constructed links lead to a missing page:

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/1270973/discuss/58bd7030c3a3680df8001e09
https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/1270973

2.) When I go to the section "Content Issues" in "Support", the report is listed with 1 correct link and 1 dead link:

https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/58bd7030c3a3680df8001e09 -> correct
https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/1270973 -> dead

3.) When I go to the list of "Content Issues" regarding the show, this new report is not listed:

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/69158-the-good-fight/discuss/category/504794a319c29527aa000640

It looks like reports directly from tv episodes are a bit trickier than those from shows/movies. But it's the first time I did report something via this icon. Perhaps this happened accidentally? Did that happen to someone else before?

Best wishes,

janar

It's not much of a bug, because there are no season and episode boards. Only series boards.

However, your reports still appear on the /talk Content Issues section! That's the most important! We just can't navigate to season/episode board to find older content issues, but that wasn't possible before either, so yeah. And the link IN the report itself, is working too (which is why we love people who use the report function, instead of creating a new discussion in Content Issues, haha!)

Also, the links not working is also the same in the change log (links to episodes not working, or at least last week they didn't) maybe it's related, but at least Travis is aware of the links not working in the changeling!

Okay, if that's the most important one for you guys and you still get the reports, all is fine with me! dancer

Okidoki!

I made the same experience in the change log. Maybe it is related? I can't say. And if Travis is aware of that, I'll close this discussion.

And thanks for the deletion of the 2 backdrops, Marr! smiley_cat

I was going to ask Travis about those!! grin

When I go to the list of "Content Issues" regarding the show, this new report is not listed

@Travis if you can easily fix that one, it would be super helpful to have season/episode reports in there too fingers_crossed

Hmmm... there might be a way to have them show. I'll have to think about this one. Reports are linked to the actual item, not the series and I'd have to think about how to show all "child" reports. I won't be looking at this in the near future but thanks for the ideas.
