Bug: notification for new topics in movie forum won't disapear after viewing, must be cleared manually

Normal notifications for topics you participated are cleared automatically, but if you enable notification of empty movie discussions and someone create discussion there, you are correctly notified about it, but even upon clicking on notification it will stay in your notification popup and can be removed only by manually clearing it.
EDIT: On newest desktop Chrome, Win10.

Correct, this is by design since it's not a notification to a specific discussion like what your'e normally used to seeing.
Some of this will be massaged out when I hook up the ability to "watch" items for new discussions in general, since it's the same feature just with some extra icing on it.
