The Movie Database Support

TL;DR: The site seems to be breaking down due to admin neglect: translation submissions don't work properly, release dates sometimes don't appear unless edited oddly, and now tv series' release dates don't show up on cast/crew pages - like with Fuse, even though it's marked as "ended".

Is it just me, or is the site starting to fall apart due to admin neglect? First, the translation submission feature stopped working, and as someone suggested before, I had to add a different translation just to get the one I needed to show up.

Then, there's something unclear with release dates for films or TV shows - I enter a date, but it doesn't show up on the title page unless I either change the date or add a language to it.

And now there's this: why doesn't the release date of the show Fuse appear on the page of any cast or crew member, like this one? I already added the release date of the episode he was involved in, but it didn't change anything - even though the show's status is set to "ended".

This is actually a fairly old bug that sometimes causes a new translation not to be added correctly and cannot be displayed or added again. As far as I know, just add a translation in some other, not yet added, language and everything starts working.

Then, there's something unclear with release dates for films or TV shows - I enter a date, but it doesn't show up on the title page unless I either change the date or add a language to it.

I've also noticed something similar in recent weeks. I use localized TMDB (cs-CZ) with DD.MM.YYYY date format, but sometimes the site starts expecting date in US MM/DD/YYYY format, so no cs-CZ date can be added. You can tell that this is the problem by the fact that when you select the date in the date picker, it just fills in the US format, not the localized one. So far, logging out and logging in has always helped me. I haven't reported it yet, because this error has never occurred to me when I've had time to investigate it and add some relevant context to the report. I don't know if it's the same bug though, I haven't edited any series for a while...

Travis recently changed the way TV credits are displayed on the person pages, and there are probably still a few issues to work out man_shrugging_tone1.
